About me

My passion for education equity began at a young age when I was part of the student activist movement in Apartheid South Africa.

I conducted my post-graduate research on school leadership and management, which led me to analyse a number of public education systems.  The results and findings of the research highlighted why some public education systems excel and why many fail. 

School leadership is one of the key drivers of successful school outcomes for learners and educators alike and must be guided by well-designed processes, which are supported by training, and the development of appropriate skills. 

This is my area of expertise, and where I am able to contribute to the improvement of public education.
